Update

Hello Everyone, here is a little fall update on the Hoskins' Household.
Callum turned two in July and continues to be a total clown. He has recently mastered riding a two wheel bike with training wheels and thinks that he is quite big stuff. "I go fast!." he says.
He also continues to cause as much mischief as possible and if he wasn't sooooo cute, he would be in much more trouble. The other day we were at my in laws house and we were eating lunch, which he decide he wasn't going to eat that day, so he went upstairs to play in the playroom. Well, it was way too quiet way too long and so I went upstairs and found him with a spray bottle of Shout stain prewash. He was "cleaning" grandma's dresser. "I cleaning" he told me quite seriously. Well, I took the bottle away from him and both his arms and part of his shirt was soaked. The only part not soaked was the stain right under his chin. It is always one thing after another. But there is usually a smile in the end. He keeps me on my toes.
Alex is becoming quite a boy! He will be turning five next week and feels very grown up. He started preschool this year and loves it. He is doing really well with beginning sounds and his favorite part is craft time. He tries to help me keep Callum in line, but I don't think there is anything that can do that. (And that's okay!!!) He still loves trains and the zoo! The picture above is Alex eating some corn that he grew in our garden this year.
Tom is going crazy trying to keep up with work and school. He can't wait until the semester is over. Slowly but surly he is working on an engineering degree. He is about 12 credit hours away from his associates and then we will see where he wants to finish.
I'm still substitute teaching and loving it. I have taught anything from kindergarten through 12th grade. All subjects and even quite a bit of special ed. (which I think is my favorite.) I love the small groups and each kid is so unique and wonderful. I am also going to start tutoring on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. I'm looking forward to that. They are kids that are recommended by the schools for a special program funded by No Child Left Behind. Also, we just found out last week that we are expecting number three!! He/She will be here sometime mid June. We are very excited!!!! So as always, the Hoskins contiue to keep life hoppin'. It is great and I thank God everyday for the family and friends that he has put into our lives. Some prayer requests: For Tom that he won't burn out. For Amanda's energy (and naseau). That the boys will continue to grow and love life.
We love you all and would love to hear from you. You can email hoskins2005@hotmail.com.
Have a blessed fall and wonderful Thanksgiving.
Amanda
